[Jim Yong Kim, World Bank President, Visits Haiti, Sees More Hope Now Than Ever} {Hillary Clinton : "Haiti has now a good government working for the people"}
If this guy not Just trying to make the puppets installed government in Haiti look good, I wonder what good things, Jim Yong Kim, World Bank President, sees in Haiti that he has not seen in the last 10 years that makes him so sure about Haiti more hope.
it was not long ago when I heard the U.S.A. Secretary of State spoken about Haiti and stated that Haiti has now a better government, stable, who is really doing a great jobs for the country, blah blah blah with smile on her face.
But the news were out at the same time that people in Haiti was protested against this Haiti government and asked that the president to step down because of more injustice and no changement since the president has taken office.
Haitian People who working hard in foreign countries who have always wished to go back home, are not keen about going back to Haiti. Because they see people in Haiti are still risky their lives on dangerous boats trying to flee Haiti, Haitians still crossing border into the Domican Republic, a country barely a bit better then Haiti ( BECAUSE OF TOILETS AND ELECTRICITY); and the news of Kidnapping still going on and a sense of a new dictatorship is looming in Haiti based on how the new government is dealing in the country.
Still, the Haiti current President has been called the best president by these foreign countries people, that think he's doing a good job; however, I think the real reasons for that is because he's more open and more eager to please them as foreign people and foreign cultures more than Haiti and the Haitian people. So they like him because they can use him just right and easy.
Jim Yong Kim sounds just like all those Diaspora Haitians who working for the U.S.A. interests, in the U.S.A.. Who support anything foreign people supporting and will oppose anything foreign people oppose against their country even if it's good or bad.
So they are all support Martelly Presidency for Haiti whether is good or worst because they feel that those foreign people like him, so they feel compel to like him too.
But, though they like to talk about his good works he's doing in Haiti, but they are not interest of going back to Haiti. Where are all they live?... In Foreign countries. Of course, in U.S.A, Canada, or even prefer to live in Dominican Republic then in Haiti.
How come they all think he's doing going good in Haiti when they still living in foreign countries? Why not pack and go to live in Haiti and invest in Haiti without any form of scam and sweatshops?
It looks like all government or country presidents are good as long as they do their jobs like some foreign countries expect them to do it. Otherwise, if they not, they might be labelled as dictators, or even terrorists.
In other word, it does not matter if a country government or president, or group of people really bad dictators, terrorits, as long as they working to meet those foreign countries interests or goals, then they are all good government, presidents, great heroes rebels doing good jobs for their countried.
It seems like they are only bad governments, bad presidents, bad people only when they are really doing good jobs for their countries, or for their family (domestically); when they standing up to defend their countries and their people interests against foreign countries interests.
EXAMPLE: The War in Syria, Libya, where criminals doing terrorits work against their countries government have been called by those foreign countries as "Heroes", believe what those criminals have done against their countries and people are good jobs as long as it damage the government, presidents whom they feel hard to get along with.
OTHER EXAMPLE DOMESTICALLY: They use the same tactics in domestic society where they use the weakest, fearest members of family against the family most intelligent person if they feel that that someone in the family is intelligent enough, someone who is not that afraid to talk to them, to ask them about his/ or her rights, and they want to curbe his or her ability to function by using the person who is so afraid. They way they do this is putting the fearful family member in charge, byt trying to make the fearest member of family to put everything under his/ or her name in attempt to try to get the intteligent person in the family out of the picture and the score is: CONTROL.
That's happening to me as of now, where my Haitian children mother has been used against me by public agencies because they do no like what I stand for, and since by laws or through legal standpoint, they cannot do anything wrong to me, but only through illicit secretive rather illegal activities they can get to me. So, they used her since she's afraind to talk to them" Judges, Lawyers, Housing Authority Section 8, Landlords, Cops, but I am not.
But the only way they kept me away is to force her to get my name off eveything, even though she does not want to do that because it affects her and our kids, but she still does any time she feels threatening by those agencies of putting eonomic sanction against her because of me.
As for me, I know exactly what is like when a government in a country not working for foreign interests would be like, and what it would do to make a country people life better, to like to stay in their country or willing to go back.
As of right now, I do not see any bright future with this presidency or government Haiti has now, just like the one before. ( Too Much Want To be Like By Foreigh People) .
No Electricity; No Toilet: still same scary toilets, and hygiene overall same as in the 80s one of the thing that scary people away way before there was kidnapping. These kind of things that can easily be takem care off had the Haiti president not worried more about pleasing foreign people, tourists more than own Haiti culture and the Poeple interests.
The foreign president in Haiti is too busy thinking of foreign people than what Haiti and Haitian People really needs.
